Registered Osteopath (Principal Practitioner)
Member of The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) & Institute of Osteopathy
Fiona Lavin graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now called the Heath Sciences University) over twenty years ago. Fiona is a structural practitioner and enjoys the challenges that come with helping her patients on their road to recovery. She has a keen interest in helping women particularly as they face the physical changes linked to pregnancy, menopause and aging.
Fiona comes from a strong scientific background, having completed her Biology degree in 1994 and then working at several different laboratories doing research on everything from malaria to cancer. She changed career in 1997 after realising that science didn’t fulfil her need to work with and help people.
Fiona took over the well-established Winchmore Hill Clinic in 2008, which always had an excellent reputation as an Osteopathic clinic but over the years new therapist have joined the team so that the clinic has gone from strength to strength because of their hard work and commitment to their patients. She believes that by coming to see an osteopath you are not only prioritising your physical health but also empowering yourself so you get better and then sustain that sense of wellbeing.
Fiona is a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council (No. 4983) and Institute of Osteopath and is also a registered provider for Aviva, AXA, BUPA, Cigna, Simply Health, Vitality and WPA.
