What is Pilates?

Pilates is not just a random choice of particular movements.

Pilates is a system of physical and mental conditioning that can enhance your physical strength, flexibility and coordination as well as reduce stress, improve mental focus, and foster an improved sense of well-being.

Pilates not only offers a bridge between mind and body, between everyday life and optimal performance, between rehabilitation and healthy movement; it offers a system that, when used to its full potential, can enhance every aspect of life.

It offers a solution to those with restricted mobility and to elite athletes.

Everyone and anyone of all ages and fitness level can benefit from regular Pilates classes.

It helps create a leaner, sculpted body, increase abdominal and lower back strength and improves posture. It helps reduce the risk of back and neck pain.

It acts as a tool to restore muscle balance to the musculo-skeletal system during movement. It is beneficial for everyone and anyone and as motivating for men as for woman.

It is adaptable and diverse, and that is its magic.
