Member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
I started my career as a primary school teacher in 1997, where I experienced both great fulfilment and challenges. After many years of working with children I began training and coaching other teachers. I felt there was so much more I could help them with than the ‘how to’, and this led me to training in NLP and later Cognitive Hypnotherapy; disciplines which allow me to help people make huge positive changes in their lives.
I now draw on a range of skills and methodologies to help my clients find the best solution or pathway for themselves, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping) and relaxation techniques. I encourage each client to be the master of their own journey, and resume control of what ever situation they are in; whether they wish to stop smoking, release themselves from a fear or phobia, or increase their confidence in any area of their life. Each person’s quest is specific to them, and so I treat each case as an exploration – asking two questions: What’s that about, and how can I use it? Using this explorative approach means that I help each client as an individual.
After the first session, I write and record a download for each client, which helps them to benefit from the work we have done together, in between our sessions. As the work I do allows deep changes to work quickly, it means most clients need only a few sessions before their issue is resolved.

Information about Cognitive Hypnotherapy
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a modern approach to help people make the changes they want in their lives. As your therapist, I will help you to make the vital tweaks you need to improve any situation. All the work we do together is part of a partnership – I cannot help anyone who doesn’t really want to be helped, but if you are ready to put something behind you, move on, and embrace the positive future ahead, I can help. Most of the work we do together will be conversational, with me asking you questions and explaining how some of what you have experienced has been stored in your mind. Then using a variety of techniques including a light trance (which is a bit like daydreaming), we can re-store and re-organise those thoughts and feelings which are no longer helpful to you. It’s a bit like spring cleaning and redecorating for the mind, or uploading new software as the old software has viruses. I invite you to contact me to find out how I can help with whatever you want to improve in your life.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy really has no bounds – if you think your problem is in your mind, or is partly in your mind, I can help you use your mind to change it.
